Exciting news is coming for Genshin Impact players ahead of Version 7.1. HoYoverse is preparing several special bonuses that will allow players to obtain a free 5-Star character.

Through this limited-time event, players will have the opportunity to choose a 5-Star character from several available options. Interestingly, there are two character categories that players can choose from to expand their collections.

Choose a Free 5-Star Character in Version 7.1

According to the Version 7.1 announcement, players can obtain one 5-Star character through an event following the latest version update.

To receive the reward, players need to complete the Version 7.1 Archon Quest. Once the requirements have been fulfilled, players can invite one of the available characters to their party.

Under the Limited Invitation category, players can choose 1 out of 6 5-Star characters:

• Tartaglia
• Nilou
• Baizhu
• Chiori
• Clorinde
• Varesa

In addition to these options, another category of 5-Star characters is also available. Players can choose 1 out of 8 characters, consisting of:

• Jean
• Diluc
• Qiqi
• Mona
• Tighnari
• Keqing
• Dehya
• Yumemizuki Mizuki

The event is scheduled to run from the Version 7.1 update until November 3, based on server time. Players can log into the game after the update and complete the specified requirements to claim their chosen character.

The event does not only offer a free 5-Star character but also includes several additional bonuses. Players can obtain 10 rewards from the limited-time Login Event, as well as 1,600 Primogems through in-game messages.

In addition, the event features a 2x reset for the First-Time Top-Up bonus, along with several other rewards that can be obtained throughout the celebration period.

With this program, Version 7.1 gives players an opportunity to add a 5-Star character to their collection without relying on the Wish system. Players who have been waiting to obtain one of the characters on the list can take advantage of this event once the update becomes available.
