Representing VCT Americas, G2 Esports entered the tournament as the top team from the VCT Americas Kickoff, while T1, representing South Korea, proved to be a formidable contender in this prestigious tournament held in Thailand.

The match kicked off with G2 Esports dominating the first map, Lotus, securing a convincing 13-6 victory. However, T1 quickly responded by taking Haven with a 13-9 score.

Moving on to the third map, Abyss, T1 started strong with a commanding 6-0 lead. However, G2 Esports mounted an incredible comeback to claim the map 13-11, putting them ahead 2-1 in the series.

With this victory, T1 secures their first international title of the 2025 season, earning the grand prize of $250,000 (~Rp 4.1 billion) and five crucial VCT points, boosting their chances for Champions qualification later this year.
