The mid-season international Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament, MSC 2024, will soon begin. The tournament is scheduled to be held offline in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from June 28 to July 14, 2024. A total of 23 of the best Mobile Legends teams from around the world will compete in this prestigious event.

The official group stage draw for the 23 participating teams has also been completed. The teams will be divided into two sections: 15 teams that directly qualify for the Group Stage and 8 teams that must first compete in the Wildcard stage.

The eight teams in the Wildcard stage will compete first. The winner from each group will then face each other in a best-of-five series to fight for one remaining slot in the Group Stage. Afterwards, the Group Stage will feature 16 teams in total. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

The playoff stage itself will use a single-elimination format, featuring best-of-five matches and a best-of-seven format for the Grand Finals.

Fnatic ONIC Enter MSC 2024 as Defending Champions

Fnatic ONIC enters MSC 2024 as one of the tournament favorites. Besides being the defending champions from MSC 2023, Fnatic ONIC also showed an impressive performance in MPL ID Season 13.

However, the two Philippine representatives should not be underestimated. Liquid Echo comes into the tournament as the champion of MPL PH Season 13, while Falcons AP.Bren previously won the M5 World Championship in 2024.

It will be interesting to see who eventually becomes the champion of MSC 2024. Will the top favorites continue to dominate the international Mobile Legends scene, or will a new team rise and claim the title? MSC 2024 is expected to be even more exciting with a massive total prize pool of US$3 million, or approximately IDR 49 billion, up for grabs.
