KRAFTON, the developer of PUBG Mobile, has rolled out the latest update, PUBG Mobile Version 3.5, from November 13, 2024, to January 7, 2025. Titled Icemire Frontier, this update introduces thrilling battles in extreme snowy conditions, including a new map area, game mode, vehicles, items, and more. Here’s a breakdown of the exciting new content in PUBG Mobile Version 3.5.

New Map Area: Frostheim

The update introduces a new area called Frostheim, featuring locations such as Chieftain’s Stronghold and Beast-Taming Ground. This area is rich with loot, including the prized Ice Crystal Chest as the main reward.

• Chieftain’s Stronghold:
  At the center lies the chieftain’s house, surrounded by a ritual aura that holds various combat supplies.
• Beast-Taming Ground:
  A challenging terrain area, perfect for exploration and resource gathering.

At the heart of Frostheim, the Frostborne Dragon lies sealed in ice. Shortly after the match begins, the dragon’s seal breaks, triggering a snowfall and revealing the sanctuary below. Players can compete to claim the Ice Crystal Chest within this area. Notably, players in Frostheim are granted one additional respawn, which is lost if they leave the area.

Throughout the map, players can find Crystal Magic Mines. Break the ice at the altar near the mine’s entrance to access supplies. Additionally, a special Magic Crystal Chest is located at the mine’s center, containing valuable rewards once its weak point is destroyed.

New Gameplay: Dragon’s Lair

The Dragon’s Lair is a new feature exclusive to Erangel. Players must find a map key to unlock the Ice Portal and challenge the Frostborne Dragon in this area. A maximum of three teams can enter the Dragon’s Lair simultaneously. Teams can explore without encountering opponents until the treasure vault opens or the dragon awakens.

Once the treasure vault opens, players may encounter other teams. The lair also houses hidden special chests, and players who fall in this area will not be eliminated from the match.

New Vehicles and Items

Vehicles:

1. Mammoth:
   • Capacity: 4 players (1 driver).
   • After being knocked down, the Mammoth becomes immobile but self-repairs after 3 seconds.
2. Sabertooth Tiger:
   • Capacity: 2 players.
   • High speed and can move autonomously.

Items:

1. Frostsoul Spear:
   • A supply item allowing high jumps and spear throws.
   • Creates a slowing area upon impact.
2. Frostsoul Warhammer:
   • A melee weapon capable of creating large ice walls.
   • Smash it into the ground to erect defensive barriers.
3. Dragon Horn:
   • Summons an Ice Portal to the Dragon’s Lair after the Frostborne Dragon is freed.
4. Dragon Blood:
   • Restores energy and health quickly, ideal for survival in intense battles.
