From the 16 teams competing in the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals, two represent Indonesia: Persija EVOS and Morph GPX. Morph GPX secured a direct qualification from the league group stage, while Persija EVOS advanced after battling through the last chance stage. Morph GPX delivered a surprising performance in this tournament, coming in as an underdog. Meanwhile, Persija EVOS is considered one of the favorites to win PMGC 2023 thanks to their consistent performance throughout 2023.

However, the Indonesian teams will not have an easy path. Several strong contenders are still favored to win the PMGC 2023 title. Teams from Brazil and Mongolia have shown dominant performances.
