The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M7 World Championship is the most prestigious esports tournament in the MLBB ecosystem. This event brings together the best teams from various regions around the world to compete for the world championship title and a massive prize pool. In the M7 edition, the competition features a more competitive format and an even larger global scale.
Schedule and Venue

The M7 World Championship is scheduled to take place from January 3 to January 25, 2026, and will be hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia. The tournament is divided into several phases to ensure fair and well-structured competition.
The series of matches begins with the Wild Card Stage from January 3β6, 2026, serving as the entry gate for teams from emerging regions. This is followed by the Swiss Stage (Main Stage), which runs from January 10β17, 2026. The Knockout Stage will be held from January 18β24, 2026, before concluding with the Grand Final on January 25, 2026.
For the venues, the early rounds through part of the Knockout Stage will be played at XO Hall and MPL Arena, while the Semifinals and Grand Final are scheduled to take place at Tennis Indoor Senayan.
List of Participating Teams in the M7 World Championship

A total of 22 teams will participate in the M7 World Championship. These teams come from various official Mobile Legends regional leagues. Fourteen teams qualify directly for the Swiss Stage based on their regional achievements, while the remaining eight teams must compete in the Wild Card Stage to fight for two remaining slots in the Main Stage.
Major regions such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, China, EECA, Turkey, the Middle East, and Cambodia are once again sending their best representatives. The wide regional representation makes M7 even more diverse, both in playstyles and strategic approaches.

M7 World Championship Tournament Format

M7 uses a multi-stage format designed to maintain competitive balance and increase match intensity.
Wild Card Stage
Eight teams compete in a group format using Best of 3 (Bo3) matches. Only the top two teams advance to the Swiss Stage.
Swiss Stage (Main Stage)
Sixteen teams compete using the Swiss Format, where teams face opponents with similar winβloss records. Teams that reach the required number of wins advance to the Knockout Stage, while teams with consecutive losses are eliminated.
Knockout Stage
The top eight teams advance to the single-elimination phase. At this stage, one loss means elimination. Matches typically use Bo3 or Bo5, depending on the round.
Grand Final
The two strongest teams face off in the final match. The M7 Grand Final is usually played in a Best of 7 (Bo7) format to determine the definitive world champion.
