The latest leak from Genshin Impact has revealed that players will have the opportunity to obtain Bennett, one of the strongest four-star characters, for free in the upcoming Version 5.0 update. In addition, Genshin Impact has officially confirmed that the next update will introduce the long-awaited Pyro nation, known as Natlan.

So far, three new characters are rumored to be released in the Genshin Impact 5.0 update: Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich. All three characters originate from the new region, Natlan.

Genshin Impact 5.0 Banner Schedule

As usual, the Genshin Impact 5.0 update will feature two banner phases. Here is the expected banner schedule:

• Genshin Impact 5.0 Phase 1 (August 28, 2024): Mualani and Kazuha

• Genshin Impact 5.0 Phase 2 (September 17, 2024): Kinich and Raiden Shogun

Phase 1 of Genshin Impact 5.0 will begin on August 28, 2024. Mualani will debut as a new wishable character. In addition, players will have the chance to obtain a rerun of Kazuha in the Phase 1 banner.

Meanwhile, Phase 2 will start on September 17, 2024. This time, Kinich will be introduced as a new wishable character. Raiden Shogun will also return as a rerun character in the Genshin Impact 5.0 Phase 2 banner.

New Characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina from Natlan

Mualani is a five-star Hydro character who wields a Catalyst. As a five-star catalyst user, she is expected to serve as a powerful DPS similar to Neuvillette. One of the most exciting aspects of her abilities, as shown in the Natlan trailer, is her ability to move swiftly across water, making her especially appealing for players who enjoy exploration.

Kinich is a five-star Dendro character who uses a Claymore and plays the role of a DPS. His abilities are said to focus on chain reactions related to burning effects. Kinich is accompanied by a pixel-style dragon named Ajaw, which may assist in exploration or open-world skills. The trailer also shows Kinich using a grappling-hook-like tool for movement, possibly involving the dragon in aerial maneuvers.

Meanwhile, Kachina is a four-star Geo polearm user. She wields a unique weapon, as seen in the trailer, allowing her to move quickly on land and climb efficiently, highlighting strong open-world performance.
