Valve has officially unveiled the eight teams receiving direct invites to The International 2025 (TI14), the pinnacle of the DOTA 2 competitive season. The announcement has sparked major excitement within the global DOTA 2 community, marking the thrilling final chapter of the 2025 pro circuit.

List of Direct Invite Teams for DOTA 2 The International 2025

Based on performance throughout the 2024–2025 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season, the following teams have earned their place at TI14:

1. All Gamers Global – A dominant new Chinese team, currently the strongest force in East Asia’s DOTA 2 scene.

2. Team Spirit – The Russian powerhouse and two-time TI champions (TI10 in 2021 and TI12 in 2023).

3. Team Liquid – The reigning TI13 (2024) champions representing Western Europe.

4. BetBoom Team – A top-tier Russian squad with two DPC titles in 2025.

5. Team Falcons – Another European force with strong showings and two DPC championships this season.

6. Gaimin Gladiators – Consistent top performers, finishing as runners-up in the last two Internationals.

7. PARIVISION – A rising Russian team that stunned the scene with two major DPC wins in 2025.

8. Tundra Esports – The TI11 (2022) champions return with three DPC titles this year, proving their lasting power.

These eight teams represent the elite of the current DOTA 2 landscape and are guaranteed to deliver world-class gameplay.

The International 2025 Schedule & Format

TI14 will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from September 4 to 14, 2025.

The tournament structure is as follows:

• Group Stage: 16 teams will compete.

  • Top 3 teams from the group stage advance directly to the Upper Bracket Playoffs.

  • Ranks 4 to 13 will battle in an elimination round to fight for playoff spots.

  • Bottom 3 teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

• Playoffs:

  • 8 teams will compete in a Double Elimination Bracket.

  • All matches will be Best of 3, with the Grand Final played as Best of 5.

Regional Qualifiers Still Open

In addition to the eight direct invites, the remaining slots will be filled through Regional Qualifiers across six major regions:

• Western Europe

• Eastern Europe

• China

• Southeast Asia

• North America

• South America

Open Qualifiers will begin in June 2025, with 8 final slots up for grabs. This gives up-and-coming teams from around the world a final chance to claim glory at TI14.
