How to Unlock Natlan in Genshin Impact

The process of unlocking Natlan is similar to how players first accessed Fontaine. Travelers will be able to reach the region through a Teleport Waypoint that automatically appears near Natlan’s entrance.

However, players must meet several requirements before the waypoint becomes available.

Requirements to Unlock the Natlan Region

To access Natlan, players must:

• Reach Adventure Rank 19 or higher.
• Complete the three Mondstadt Archon Quests in Prologue: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind:
  • Act I: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind
  • Act II: For a Tomorrow Without Tears
  • Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom

Once these requirements are fulfilled, the Teleport Waypoint near Natlan’s entrance will become available, allowing players to travel to the new region.

Requirements to Start Natlan Quests

While players can enter Natlan relatively early, additional requirements must be met to access the region’s main questline and story content.

To begin the Natlan quests, Travelers must:

• Reach Adventure Rank 28 or higher.
• Complete all Liyue Archon Quests in Chapter I: Farewell, Archaic Lord:
  • Act I: Of the Land Amidst Monoliths
  • Act II: Farewell, Archaic Lord
  • Act III: A New Star Approaches

Completing these prerequisites will unlock access to Natlan’s main storyline and additional content.

Start the Natlan Archon Quest with Quick Start

Players who meet the requirements for both region access and quest progression can use the Quick Start feature found in the Events menu to immediately begin Natlan’s Archon Quest.
