KRAFTON, the developer of PUBG Mobile, has officially released a brand-new update for the game. PUBG MOBILE Version 4.1 arrives with a winter-themed overhaul titled “Frosty Funland.” This update brings a festive snowy atmosphere filled with penguins, ice magic, and frosty surprises that transform classic battlegrounds into a frozen playground. Players can enjoy new themed modes, unique weapons, and various social and creative features that expand the ways to experience the battlefield.

Players can now explore icy worlds with locations such as “Penguinville” and “Penguin Town.” Classic maps like Erangel, Livik, and Vikendi have been redesigned with thick snow and winter decorations.
Additionally, winter-themed animal NPCs — including penguins, foxes, and bears — can be interacted with to obtain items, buffs, or even assistance during combat.

New items such as Magic Ice Skates, Salted Fish Rocket Launcher, and Penguin Snowmobile add more excitement to the battlefield. Players can also participate in winter party–themed missions, collect invitations, and battle other teams in a challenging four-player mode.

PUBG Mobile 4.1 also introduces major improvements to core gameplay. Rifles now feature more realistic long-distance damage drop-off, shotguns receive a nerf, and DMRs gain increased stability.

The new competitive season, Cycle 9 Season 27, has officially begun with exclusive rewards and fresh challenges. Ranked Arena Mode also returns, featuring Team Deathmatch, Assault, and Domination on maps such as Warehouse, The Ruins, and Town.
Interestingly, the arena now includes special locations themed after the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025, where players can take photos and collect a Champion Pack.

Creator Mode & World of Wonder (WOW)

For players who enjoy creativity, Version 4.1 brings a substantial update to the World of Wonder mode. Creators can now build custom maps and game modes using a more flexible Resource Center. The update also includes a winter-themed WOW Pass and community events for outstanding creators.

Beyond the battlefield, Home Mode also receives a new winter-themed update titled “Polar Wonderland.” Players can decorate their virtual home with winter decorations such as snow slides, merry-go-rounds, and even a music stage with an electric guitar. Vehicles now also come equipped with Winter Vehicle Speakers that play festive snow-themed songs while driving.
