ONIC Olympus Triumphs in the New Champion Rush Format In FFWS SEA Spring 2025
The Grand Finals took place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, delivering high-stakes drama and fierce competition. ONIC Olympus emerged as the overall leaderboard leader with 108 points, and clinched the title after winning Match 9, having surpassed the critical 80-point threshold required by the Champion Rush format.
Coming in second was Buriram United Esports from Thailand. Despite finishing with a total of 111 points, higher than ONICβs score, Buriram United fell short of winning the championship as they failed to secure a Booyah after reaching 80 pointsβone of the key requirements to claim victory under the new system.
In third place was Bigetron Esports, another Indonesian powerhouse, who finished with 107 points. Bigetron earned two Booyahs in matches 6 and 7, but underperformed in the last two matches, preventing them from overtaking ONIC or Buriram.
Indonesia Reclaims the FFWS SEA Trophy
ONIC Olympus’s victory at FFWS SEA Spring 2025 marks a major milestone as they bring the coveted regional trophy back to Indonesia after years of dominance by Thai and Vietnamese teams.
