Kagendra officially made history after winning the Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025, the biggest official Honor of Kings tournament in Indonesia. Kagendra delivered an outstanding performance by defeating 9 other competing teams throughout the tournament. In the Grand Finals, Kagendra successfully defeated Dominator Esports with a dramatic final score of 4-3.

The Grand Finals match, held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, turned into an intense and thrilling showdown. Dominator Esports entered the match as the favorites thanks to their impressive performance since the Group Stage. Meanwhile, Kagendra emerged as a strong challenger after their remarkable lower bracket run. Kagendra was also determined to take revenge after previously losing to Dominator Esports during the Group Stage.

Kagendra started the series with an aggressive strategy from the very beginning. However, Dominator Esports managed to respond effectively and dominated the early games. As a result, Dominator Esports secured victories in the first two games, taking an early 2-0 lead.

Kagendra then fought back strongly in the next two games, successfully equalizing the score to 2-2 by Game 4. In Game 5, Dominator Esports regained momentum and claimed another victory, putting themselves ahead 3-2. At that point, Dominator Esports needed just one more win to secure the championship title.

Unfortunately for Dominator Esports, Kagendra showed incredible mental strength under pressure. In Games 6 and 7, Kagendra played flawlessly and completed an incredible reverse comeback, ultimately winning the Grand Finals with a final score of 4-3.
